On March 4, Dr. Hamad Ebrahim Al-Abdulla, Executive Director of Bahrain Center for Strategic, International and Energy Studies (Derasat)  and  Dr. Abdullah AlAbbasi, Director of the Energy and Environment Program at Derasat)  made a visit to Research Center for Advanced Science and Technology (RCAST) and exchanged views on enegy and transition with Prof. Masakazu Sugiyama, Director of RCAST. During the visit, the delegation made an informal discussion session at RCAST Open Laboratory for Emergence Strategies (ROLES) and discussed with Prof. Satoshi Ikeuchi, Professor of Religion and Global Security of RCAST of the University of Tokyo and Founding Head of ROLES and Prof. Norito Kunisue, Project Professor of Religion and Global Security at RCAST.  The discussion revolved around various issues starting from the tense situation in the Middle East region and converging policies toward the energy transition in energy producing and energy consuming countries.
