Prof. Satoshi Ikeuchi, the Founding Chair of ROLES and Professor of Religion and Global Security of RCAST of the University of Tokyo, delivered a talk "Japan and the Middle East in the Indo-Pacific Context" for a seminar at the Centre for Geopolitics of the University of Cambridge on 27th of January, 2026. 

The talk revolved around major issues in the intersection of two "Strands" of the Centre of Geolitics, Japan in the Indo-Pacific and the Middle East. 

The seminar was moderated by Professor Brendan Simms, Director of the Centre of Geopolitics of the University of Cambridge.
