8月18日付のNikkei Asiaに、ROLES／グローバルセキュリティ・宗教分野の池内恵教授が、イスラエルのヘルツリヤ学際センター（IDC Herzliya）のアッバ・エバン国際外交研究所（Abba Eban Institute for International Diplomacy）でアジア・プログラム主幹を務めるゲダリヤ・アフターマン博士（Dr. Gedaliah Afterman,  Head of the Asia Policy Program at  at the IDC Herzliya)と共著で、茂木外相の中東訪問、特にイスラエル訪問の重要性と日本の取り組むべき課題について、論考を発表しました。
