On May 14, 2026, a high-level delegation organized by the Center for International Policy Research (CIPR) payed a visit to the Research Center for Advanced Science and Technology (RCAST) of the University of Tokyo and had a discussion with Prof. Satoshi Ikeuchi, Professor of Religion and Global Security of RCAST and Founding Chair of the RCAST Open Laboratory for Emergence Strategies (ROLES). 

On this occasion, ROLES organized a forum of experts for discussion and consultation, which consists of leading experts on the wide ranging topics on the Gulf and Arabian Peninsula as well as on the energy secutiry. Participants exchanged views and questions intensely on the affect and consequences of the emergency situation and discussed on the future of the region.
