Research Center for Advanced Science and Technology (RCAST) of the University of Tokyo has concluded a MOU for Academic Exchanges with TRENDS Research & Advisory of the United Arab Emirates in May 14, 2025. 

RCAST Open Laboratory for Emergence Strategies (ROLES) will be the primary implementation unit to materialize  the academic exchanges tiwh TRENDS Research & Advisory in its effort in providing a platform of strategic cooperation between two organizations on science-technology research and developlment as well as implementations promoting cooperation among University-Industry-Government.
