Prof. Satoshi IKEUCHI delivered a lecture titled "Integrating the Red Sea into the Indo-Pacific Vision" at an event "From the Far East to the Middle East: A Japanese View on Regional Dynamics with a Focus on the Red Sea" which was held at the Tahrir Campus of the American University in Cairo (AUC) and organized by the School of Global and Public Policy of AUC on January 9, 2023.

The conference was moderated by Dr. Karim Haggag, professor of practice and director of the Middle East Studies Program at AUC. 

Dr. Abdel-Moneim Said, the prominent political thinker and writer and Amr Moussa, former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Egypt and Secretary-General of the Arab League joined the event as speakers.
