In the latest issue of ROLES Insights, Yu Koizumi provides a satellite imagery analysis of new infrastructural developments by Russia on Matua Island in the Kuril archipelago pointing to the possibility of Russian military buildups in the area. This issue is the first publication of the newly established “Sub-Working Group 1 on Satellite Imagery Analysis Project.”
