How do resources and energy relate to politics and international relations? This book, Fueling Sovereignty, examines this question through one of the most fundamental political phenomena: state formation. The book is an excellent study of comparative politics based on careful qualitative methodology, has broad implications across diverse academic disciplines, and has been highly acclaimed nationally and internationally since its publication in 2024.
