RCAST Open Laboratory for Emergence Strategies of the University of Tokyo, together with two research groups, will hold a research conference on North Korea's global outreach.
Despite its well-known status of seclusion and isolation, North Korea maintains diplomatic relations with many countries, either overtly or under the surface. This conference explores various aspects of North Korea's diplomatic and foreign operations in the Middle East, Africa, China, and Southeast Asia. One focal point will be the intersection with Russia and China in its foreign relations.
